NOTES: The Maltese coat of arms with a nifty 70s laminate veneer in the background. This is the 1964 Independence shield of arms of Malta which was the coat of arms from  1964-1975. “Virtute et Constantia” is the motto on the shield and the motto for the “Order of Malta” award and which means “power and constancy”.
