ITEM: Key Ring Holder
NOTES: A dainty little key ring made out of material and wood with a bell attached underneath. Clearly the bell is not there to help you find your keys (think about it) … it must be to give you a little aural magic you walk along. It is all very delicate. I don’t think it would last long in my pocket.

PLACE REPRESENTED: Salvador , Brazil
ITEM: Key Ring Holder
NOTES: A nice little wooden key ring in the shape of a boat. The boat ropes are a nice touch though I’m not sure how long they would last in day to day use. Salvador, also known as São Salvador, Salvador de Bahia, and Salvador da Bahia is the capital of the Brazilian state of Bahia. With 2.9 million people (2013), it is the largest city proper in the Northeast Region and the 3rd-largest city proper in the country, after São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvador,_Bahia

PLACE REPRESENTED: Middlemount, Queensland , Australia
ITEM: Keychain
NOTES: Middlemount is a mining town in Central Queensland, Australia. Hence the depiction of the dragline excavator. Middlemount, like many other mining towns in Queensland virtually sprung up overnight in the early 1980s. It services two large coal mines, Foxleigh and German Creek. At the 2011 census, Middlemount had a population of 1,914. It’s population, I suspect, is dependent of the fortunes of the mining industry. Maybe that’s why the image is framed in a horseshoe … for luck? If solar or green energy become a easily accessible reality who knows what will happen to Middlemount, or Queensland for that matter.
