MACKAY, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA – Pin Cushion

Mackay - pincushion - shell (3)PLACE REPRESENTED: Mackay, Queensland , Australia

ITEM: Pin Cushion

NOTES: A  most unusual pin cushion and quite a good one. I’m not sure is this locally made as I’m not sure Mackay is famous for its shells given it’s located on a river (the Pioneer river) though it is a jumping off point for the nearby Great Barrier Reef, and the Whitsunday Islands. Still, I would be happy to put my pin in this cushion.

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE – Pin Cushion

PLACE REPRESENTED: Memphis, Tennessee, USA (Graceland specifically)

ITEM: Pin Cushion

NOTES: A rocking chair pin cushion from Elvis Presley’s home in Memphis, Graceland. I’m not sure why a pin cushion and rocking chair but anything with Elvis or anything Elvis related will sell. If nothing else it is a reminder that Elvis’ beloved grandmother, Minnie Mae aka Dodger, lived at Graceland until she passed away in 1980.

MADE FROM: steel , fabric

MADE IN:  ?

MANUFACTURER: unknown

Happy Birthday Elvis.
