NOTES: A very stylish and ornate cap from Peru. Quite a bit of detail has gone into the brim and badge. It is wonderfully folk art-ish with some of the usual traditional Peruvian motifs displayed … a lama, Incas. The “chismosas” referred to are “gossips”. Very nice.

On top of Magnific Rock is perched the Magnific Rock Hotel which overlooks Nicaragua’s premier surf break and one Central America’s top surfing destinations, hence the depiction of the hotel, the seabirds, the beach and the lonely(?) surfer.
