NOTES: A very stylish and ornate cap from Peru. Quite a bit of detail has gone into the brim and badge. It is wonderfully folk art-ish with some of the usual traditional Peruvian motifs displayed … a lama, Incas. The “chismosas” referred to are “gossips”. Very nice.

NOTES: I don’t know if the three master is a traditional Philippine boat (and the Philippino’s will need more than this to block Chinese expansionism) but the colours of their flag are all here: red, white, blue and gold.

NOTES: Juneau is the capital of Alaska, and the Red Dog Saloon is the oldest man-made tourist attraction in Juneau, founded during Juneau’s mining era (around the 1880s I suppose).
